Privacy Policy
This policy describes the site as it is currently built. If analytics or other third-party tools are added later, it will be updated before they go live, and the date above will change.
Who we are
HaulBrief is operated by Eros Pardal, an individual publisher established in Spain. You can reach us at shapedweb@outlook.es.
What we collect directly
Nothing. This site has no accounts, no newsletter sign-up and no contact form. We do not ask you for personal information, and the calculators on this site run entirely in your browser — the figures you enter are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
If your browser permits it, the cost per mile calculator stores what you typed in your own browser's local storage so the form is still filled in when you return. That copy stays on your device, is not readable by us, and is removed when you use the calculator's Clear all fields button or clear your browsing data.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard web server logs, which may include your IP address, browser user agent, the pages requested and the time of the request. These are used to operate and secure the site.
Advertising
This site displays advertising served by third-party vendors. Those vendors, including Google, may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info and Your Online Choices.
- Third-party vendors set their own privacy policies, which govern their handling of the data they collect.
Where the law requires consent before personalised advertising is shown — for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland — that consent is requested before such advertising is served, and it can be withdrawn at any time through the same controls.
Analytics
This site does not use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics service. Visitor numbers are read from the hosting provider server logs described above. If that changes, this section will say so.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking advertising cookies does not prevent you from reading this site; it means the advertising you see is less personalised.
Children
This site is aimed at commercial drivers and business operators and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with an updated date.
